Your startpoint :japanime plus real life , real japan
is interesting. I ‘ve been studying cinema: history
theory and many other thing like video art : bill viola
nam jun paik and …many other thing plus asian cinema
Hong-kong’s kung fu , police and also Japanese cinema
from its beginning , no sound but a man “Benshi” telling
the story in front of spectators …
There are many thing to say , all are related to art and
its History , think of Silent Hill, the games and the movie , some movies from Hong- kong : King-hu’s A touch of Zen , both related to Zen ,painting …some artefact ?from Japan?..movies for sure , the old one , black and white,deeply linked to Nô ,Kabuki , on the beginnning ,
simply a recording …
About Anime ? I wish to connect every art form to its country , culture in order to taste every bit of the work….I hope you’ll do so from time to time .
I used to study cinema ,video and arts’history from University Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris ,France.
In a way , a good startpoint for “tasting” some qualities,nevertheless, you may feel the good job on some
anime ,cinema ,painting as well if you are an amateur ready to study some books, critics….
Good luck on your task , passion will help you to find
