[The Serious Blogger Project, turn 2] Sergio, on Clannad art. Simplicity and Beauty.

I’ll do my best to accurately present this blogger. Sergio is a linguistics student in Spain. He has developed a distaste for the popular culture of his country and thus turned outwards to the rest of the world to find something meaningful. Among the discoveries he made, Japanese culture caught his interest. His website blogs his way into his quest to learn Japanese, his various interpretations of different cultural elements in Japan. That is only information as it is relevant to this blog however, the width of topics discussed in his blog far outstretches the one in my presentation.

What is important to note is that Sergio doesn’t quite write for the general public. When I contacted him, he seemed troubled when I asked what posts would be best presented. His contention was that his blog could hardly be enjoyed by people. Ironically, this is a sort of value that I’m looking for here.

To taste the true essence of his blog, you could ideally just jump to the home page and start reading from top to bottom. Alternatively, I’ll provide some relevant links right here.

And so here is someone who had something to say.

    A very interesting blog, though it was somewhat surreal reading the musings of someone with opinions eerily similar to my own.

    Hopefully the next one will have the same level of quality. Keep it up.
