Its all fun and games until someone cancels the geass commands.

The last few weeks were very plot-heavy, with a lot of new developments to chew through. Apparently Sunrise thought we still needed more time to swallow all the info, so this week it’s filler episode.

As we know from previous episode Sayako has been playing Lulu’s double while he was away. She was ordered to behave the way Lulu would. So what did she do besides kissing Shirley? Well, her idea of “Lulu’s personality” was a bit off, so off that she set up 108 dates for him

Yep, this is a comedy-centric episode. Still it does have something that sets it apart from previous Geass comedy episodes: it’s genuinely funny all the way through.

Since Milly is about to graduate she sets up a game of tag where the person you catch and take a hat from will become your lover. And she sets a high bounty on Lulu’s hat

Of course this is Geass, so there obviously was also some serious plot development

We’ve seen some of British aristocrats. And I’m sorry, but so far:

China’s loli > Area 11’s loli > British lolis.

The new bad guy: Bismarck. There will be a war against China, so a new villain was needed.

Cornellia reappears. And she knows what Geas is now. Yet another problem for Lulu

We also are getting hints that Emperor wants to do something really bad that can result in the end of the world. I hope Sunrise will do better than “MUAHAHA, I’m so evil” as a reason for this

Zero is going all Batman with his double identity, using his Knightmare to quickly go to China and then return before anyone at Academy notices. I love it, it has that cool old comic book feeling

Orange-kun now has a Geass canceler and he’s randomly using it in the city.

Shirley gets caught in it’s effect, which forces her to remember everything about Lulu being Zero. Damn, this plot thread will hurt Lulu as hell.

This raises an interesting question though: if the geass order is canceled does it mean Lulu will be able to use geass on her again? Or does it just reverse the order, instead of restoring everything to it’s pre-geass state?

Overall a fun filler episode with some good plot developments near the end.
