I don’t know how the hell did I overlook this news Mahō Tsukai ni Taisetsu no Koto was my favorite anime of 2003, I also adored the manga version.
This new anime series will be based on Mahō Tsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto: Natsu no Sora, which is a third manga in the franchise (seems that the second onel; Spellbound will be ignored). The good news is that Hal Film Maker is behind it and judging by how wonderful job they did on Aria and Sketchbook animes they seem simply a perfect fit for this property.
