What do you have planned for this 4th of July?

As for me, nothing special really, I won’t be celebrating in any significant fashion. There’s a reason for that and it brings me to an important point. There are no American writers in here that are available to write up this anniversary post. You’ll have to settle for my Canadian ass. Our only American writer is currently on the other side of the planet.

From what I heard, the only nation-wide tradition for the 4th is fireworks. A healthy dose of red, white and blue doesn’t hurt either if the T.V. is to be believed. What’s interesting is that us Canadians just had our national celebration not too long ago which is called “Canada Day”, so a tip of the hat to my Canadian friends too.
