Stuff was mad last episode, this episode is one about cleaning up.

Hostile fortress of doom.

First thing we see this episode is the Kuhouin house and what happens inside. Murasaki is sad and her fake mother is getting indignant about some tea that she is cleaning up. They could have sauced up the drama right about here. That tea scene didn’t look all that horrible.

“Hey, who taught you common sense”

That thing on the floor right there is supposed to be Murasaki’s savior and protector. He’s got the whole episode to get on his feet. At this point he’s trying to forget about Murasaki and move on. Soon enough, he’s hit with some Murasadelusions.

He can still see her being her usual self in his daydreams. Yet he’s trying to fight the will to get her back from the kuhouins. Yayoi wants him to move on too though. Heartless bitch.

Yayoi tells her story though, this episode isn’t totally a waste. We can see the reason why Yayoi is always so obsessive about her job. One of her protégés got killed in an innocent drive-by. I know it’s kinda sorta horrible but I did laugh. I know you did too. It’s some funny stuff and you can see it coming from a mile away.

Fast forward a bit and his murasadelusions continue. That time he’s had enough and decides to have a talk with Benika. They argue for a while and NOW WE GOT A WAR GOING ON. The problem is Shinkurou has no idea where he’s going and how to get there. GOOD JOB. Benika gives him a ride though.

The last two episodes have been way too frustrating to be any good for my health. This latest one was unnecessary in my humble opinion. They should have gone straight for the kill. Instead they showed Shinkurou moping around. ugh.

2.5/5 for this episode. Next episode is where it’s at though, don’t miss it. Episode 11. Second-to-last. Big showdown at the Kuhouins.
