The episode starts, nicely setting off the summer mood…it’s kinda cool when anime do this, heh. But anyway, what better way to start an episode than with a dance by Maru and Moro? They’re so playfully cute, celebrating grilled fish like that. Nevertheless, a nice introduction to this episode.

Yes, XEBEC went even further in this ep.

Obviously the episode begins with more molesting of Kouta-kun.

This time under pretext of warming him during a cold night

So far Kanokon has shown us so much (including spanking raw and foot jobs) than the question remained: how much further can they push? I mean this is supposedly aimed at kids (although I don’t think anyone buys that any more), it does air in morning slot(yes, it’s a morning cartoon ). The next obvious step is frontal nudity. Oh, sure, Kankon already did that to some degree, hardly doing any of the  typical “steam/light beam/random furniture shapes” tricks that other anime use when obscuring the details, XEBEC instead just didn’t draw them. This time they’ve found another way, they decided to show Chizuru’s ermm… “assets”. So what our beloved wackos at XEBEC did?

Following the events of last weeks episode, 07 begins with Ranka late to Sheryl’s farewell concert while Alto, Ozme and the Macross Frontier fleet are set in place on a rescue mission for the remaining ships of the Macross Galaxy that were previously attacked by the Vajra, as well as recieving any intel that will help in learning more about the Vajra species in the process. 07 marks the first epic large-scale battle for Frontier since the series began that long time fans of Macross have come to enjoy, and i’m glad to say this episode which is action-packed,does not disappoint.?

Now, kurenai got over the musical real quick, it’s like it never happened. Now that I think about it, you could almost watch Kurenai as you would watch The Simpsons. Up until now, you didn’t need a lot of information to have a good idea of what’s going on. The plot doesn’t seem to be evolving much at all. That’s not to say it’s stagnant, we barely know what’s going on anyways. Each episode does give some hints of the big picture though.
